Development of Technical Solutions
We define and substantiate technical solutions prior to detailed engineering. We establish system boundaries, baseline parameters, implementation options, and requirements for subsequent project phases. Rigorously developed technical concepts ensure a unified vision between client and engineer, mitigate design risks, and optimize capital expenditure early in the project lifecycle.
Conceptual Engineering Solutions
We create comprehensive concepts for future engineering systems: defining operating principles, structural architecture, main process parameters, and inter-system relationships. Conceptual solutions serve as the framework for detailed design and align core technical strategies before working documentation is developed.
Examples: Development of Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), major equipment selection, preliminary system parameter sizing, and equipment layout and tie-in option studies.
Front-End Engineering Design (Pre-FEED / FEED)
We conduct pre-project studies and engineering calculations necessary to prepare a project for execution. We evaluate technical feasibility, define primary facility specifications, identify operational constraints and risks, and establish baseline data required for final investment decisions (FID).
Examples: On-site facility surveys, baseline data collection and verification, material and heat balance generation, preliminary equipment sourcing, plot plan and utility tie-in evaluations, and CAPEX estimation.
Trade-Off & Techno-Economic Evaluation
We benchmark alternative technical solutions against critical criteria: constructability, operational reliability, process safety, lifecycle performance, CAPEX, and OPEX. Based on our evaluations, we provide clear, data-driven recommendations to select the optimal design route.
Technical Specifications & Terms of Reference
We draft comprehensive Terms of Reference (TOR) and technical requisitions for engineering design, equipment procurement, or specialized works. We define project scope boundaries, technical requirements, input data, delivery milestones, documentation lists, and acceptance criteria.
A precise technical specification guarantees mutual alignment between Client and Contractor, significantly reducing the risk of scope creep, costly variations, and project delays.
